Director of Software Engineering (all genders) - remote

Your mission

Responsible for the technology sector and supporting strategic and operational decisions, building, and advancing the infrastructure, and establishing a scalable software and organizational structure.
Providing ongoing guidance and support to the team, including overall leadership for the entire software engineering department.
Hands-on development responsibility for GO including standard processes such as Unit Tests and coordination of repositories.
The stated vision is to become an internationally leading provider of tokenization infrastructure, given the backdrop that Distributed Ledger Technology will fundamentally transform capital markets.

Your profile

Experience in the evaluation, development, coaching and mentoring of engineering teams and individuals.
Proven experience as a Director of Software Engineering, CTO or similar leadership role.
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus).
Knowledge of technology development and deployment trends.
Strong background in agile methodologies and ability to mentor others in their use.
Excellent communication skills.
Innovative thinker with a proven track record of transforming a vision into fully rationalized products.
Demonstrated ability to drive and manage initiatives that increase operational efficiency, enhance quality, and improve/maintain service levels is essential.
Proven ability to analyze complex situations, solve problems, and design recommendations to accomplish business and tactical goals.
C-level proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
German language is a plus.
Result orientation, conceptual and analytical thinking and acting.
